TTE's 86,000 square foot production facility is leading the industry with the most advanced machining capabilities available today. With our commitment to continually invest in technology our customers are assured the best!

The heart of the die building operation is the EDM room. A bank of wire and ram-type machines erode material to yield the die as designed, leaving behind a superior surface finish that promotes long die life. Our new 1IB machines can be viewed on the machine tour located on the home page. We operate our productive 5-axis wire EDM cutting die diameters up to 42 inches.

The move to CNC began in 1983 and today TTE operates more than 21 conventional CNC mills both vertical and horizontal. We are closing in on a fully CNC die for both solid and hollow components. Our customers experience advantages in consistency, repeatability and quality.

Our 85-hp Olympia vertical turning machine with a 57 inch swing, 37inch Z axis, and 16-ton table capacity gives TTE the capability to quickly produce some of the largest dies in the industry. CNC log saws capable of cutting up to a 27 inch diameter operate continuously.

TTE provides a complete in-house heat treating process. By using only material from premium steel suppliers assures that only the highest grades of certified H-13 steel is used for your tooling. Our heat treat team works closely with our steel suppliers to assure the durability and integrity of the material in every tool we produce.

TTE's Production Department embodies a work force that boasts decades of on-the-job experience. Our cross training efforts have achieved a production employment base that has mastered our complete construction and assembly processes. In fact, many of our production employees are also trained in design and programming. This is a luxury for our valued customers, who can be assured that the manufacturing of your tooling is handled by some of the best minds in our industry.
